How to Prepare Your Home for a Window Cleaning Visit

By WaveWash Nashville · Window Cleaning Tips

A little prep before your window cleaning appointment helps us work faster and get you the best possible result. None of it is required — we'll work around whatever we find — but these few steps make the day smoother.

Clear the Interior Sills

Move any decorations, plants, or framed photos off the windowsills and ledges we'll be cleaning. This protects your items and lets us detail the sills properly.

Make Room Outside

If possible, trim back or note any landscaping pressed against exterior windows, and clear patio furniture or grills away from the glass so we have safe ladder footing.

Secure Pets

We'll be moving in and out and opening windows. Keeping pets in a comfortable, separate room keeps them calm and safe while we work.

Let Us Know the Trouble Spots

If you have specific windows that always streak, hard-water staining, or a hard-to-reach pane, tell us up front. We'd rather know your priorities than guess.

That's It

Everything else is on us. We bring all our own equipment, water, and supplies, and we leave each window streak-free. Ready to book? Call (615) 512-5105 or request a quote online.
